Additional rules and Twists for Dhampir characters.
The original Thief of Fate ability in the Chronicles of Darkness corebook creates a somewhat confusing state of something being “on” without actually using anything mechanically to represent that. This changes that status into a Condition.

| You’ve temporarily stolen someone’s fate, granting you exceptional luck at the cost of their own fortune. Whenever you spend a point of Willpower to boost an action, add +4 to your pool instead of +3.
| When your victim fails a roll, it becomes a dramatic failure and they hear the name that represents who you consider yourself to be. This can cause problems for you. |
|---|
| Beat: Once per session while you have this condition you can choose one of the following: |
| • Taking the Watched Condition as your actions cause someone to suspect you. |
| • Permanently increasing the social penalty with the effected storyteller character by 1 |
| • The individual tries to harm you in some narrative way that complicates things, whether physical or social. |
| Resolution: Shed the condition to reroll a failed pool that you spent Willpower on. You can't regain Stolen Fate until the next time you sleep. |
| This condition fades without resolving the next time the character sleeps. |

Children of the Twice Cursed Clan that blends the Daeva and Nosferatu.
Doom: A Stalker dhampir causes a vampire to become Fascinated towards the first thing the dhampir requests.
Themes: Attention, Grotesquerie, Adaptation
Clan Twist — You Can't See Me: Much like her parents the Stalker dhampir craves attention even while pushing others away. Also much like her parent, the dhampir has a tendency to fade into the background. When they don't want to be seen, they aren't. As long as they move slowly and don't draw attention, the dhampir is harder to notice and draws no attention, even if they're walking around covered in blood or carrying weapons. If they do take a dramatic or hostile action, observers roll Wits+Composure vs the dhampir's Resolve+highest Stalker theme.
Affliction: Stalker dhampir gain the Avoidant (Persistent) Condition. Wearing themselves thin leads them to push people away and keep them out. Only their Touchstone may understand, if at all. Everyone knows they’re fucked up, so why bother. And if someone doesn’t? It’s only a matter of time before they do. Best not to let them in. They gain “Avoidant” as a Vice, and regain willpower when they actively lash out and scorn someone to keep them at a distance. Take a beat whenever the dhampir hurts someone close to them due to their unwillingness to let them in. Resolve this condition when the dhampir opens up to someone in spite of their fears.
When a roll aligns with one of your themes and you spend a point of Willpower, you may choose to ‘risk’ it. Choose two of the following effects. You cannot risk Willpower on something that isn’t a roll:
| Gain +3 to the roll as usual | Exceptional success on three instead of five |
|---|---|
| +1 to an attack’s weapon bonus | Gain the 9-Again quality |
| Remove the 10-Again quality from an opponent’s roll to contest yours | Activate a Twist or other ability, such as a from a supernatural merit or fighting style, in addition to one of the other options |
If you succeed on the roll, regain the spent Willpower as well as another point of Willpower. If you fail the roll, it becomes a dramatic failure, and you gain two beats. The spent willpower is lost.
The dhampir can roll Resolve+Stamina to avoid stealing a person’s luck, instead of spending a point of Willpower.
Whenever someone is suffering from the dhampir’s Thief of Fate merit, they lose the 10-Again quality.
